🎭Verona
A rose-pink medieval city inside a Roman shell. The 1st-century Arena still hosts summer opera under the stars; the Adige loops around Castelvecchio; and yes, there is a balcony — 20th-century tourist theatre, but the courtyard graffiti is oddly moving.
