  Standing gondola ferries cross the Grand Canal at 7 points for €2.

• Water taxi

  Sleek but expensive: ~€90–€120 from airport to hotel.

• Walking

  Fastest most of the time. Follow yellow signs to Rialto, San Marco, Ferrovia, Accademia.

• Gondola

  €90 for 30 min daytime, €110 evening — official fixed rate.

• Bicycle / car

  Forbidden in the historic center. Park at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto.

Airport to city center

  Direct from airport dock to San Marco, ~1h15, €15.

• ATVO / ACTV bus

  €10 to Piazzale Roma, ~20 min. Then vaporetto.

• Water taxi
